To those
that have achieved Life Mastery, a barrier is no longer an obstacle.
Remote Viewing is a term coined in the early
1970’s at Stanford Research Institute (SRI), California.
This term was used as a replacement for words
such as telepathy, precognition and clairvoyance. Stanford was one of the
foremost US research establishments and was unique due to the nature of the
research that went on there. They were
interested in unusual stuff.
Remote Viewing is a ‘psychic’ process used to
determine what is present at any location in time and space. For instance, it is possible to tell what a
building looks like, what the weather is like, who is there or if there is
machinery, vehicles or natural features present, al lfrom the comfort of your
armchair (or laboratory!) Crucially, the location to be Remote Viewed is kept
secret from the ‘viewer’, and the viewer is nowhere near the location and in
some experiments, hundreds or thousands of miles from the ‘target’ to be
viewed.
Stanford undertook projects for the US
government ranging from the natural sciences to high tech weapons development. Here, top scientists concentrated on applied
research and dealt with making theory into reality in practical and usable
ways. During the ‘70s, no one would have suspected
that there was a laboratory in sunny California undertaking research into such
a controversial field as parapsychology. The
scientists did not wonder whether psychic phenomena actually existed, rather
they studied how they could develop it to a level of practical
application. Their funding came from the
US military, whose goal way back then was to penetrate the ‘Iron Curtain’
during the Cold War. Apparently Russian scientists had been experimenting with
psychic phenomena since the 1950s and the US government didn’t want to get left
behind.
Two key physicists, Dr Hal Puthoff and Dr
Russell Targ joined forces with artist Ingo Swann. They had no interest in
reviewing earlier experiments, beliefs, concepts and ideas. They were out to
re-invent the whole field and their methods, protocols and results, though
questioned by sceptics later, formed the basis of what we now know as Remote
Viewing. Much work has been undertaken since those
early days, not just limited to the US military. Fast forward to a study
undertaken in 2001-2002 by The UK Ministry of Defence. Freedom of Information
requests have elicited the official documentation. It’s a little dry, but worth
a look. Download the letter here, part one here, and part two here.
Coming bang up to date, research in this area
ought to be build on existing knowledge but not be restricted by it. In short
it should be possible to go one’s own way and study these subtle capabilities
from a new perspective. Through study, observation and practice a simple yet
powerful process has been developed that can be easily learned by anyone interested
in practicing Remote Viewing for themselves.
The foundation skills taught in Colin Clark’s
Sensitive
Awareness Method™ can be directly applied in so many ways
not least of which is to develop skills such as Remote Viewing. You can contact
him directly at colin@drawninward.com. Remote Viewing is a skill that can learned by
any human being with sensitivity, patience and enthusiasm. It is not the
preserve of superstars like Uri Geller, because we are all superstars in our
own way. We ought not shy away from our full human capacity.
A world where
Remote Viewing was commonplace would be a world where the propagators of
damaging secrets and vicious lies could not prosper. Imagine that.
